Strong knowledge of construction documents and procedures, construction detailing, material application, hand drafting skills, developing and writing FF & E specifications, developing project budgets

Understanding of architectural building systems, building codes, construction methodology, construction specifications, coordination with other disciplines and consultants, purchasing and procurement – order placement, follow-up, lead-time and installation

-Set up, name and maintain project files as per firm standards
-Ability to follow direction and give direction to junior staff
-Must demonstrate a strong commitment to quality
-Proficient in 2D and 3D design software
-Organized and able to maintain a clean and orderly work environment
-Able to manage multiple and changing priorities
-Ability to understand project requirements and schedule staff accordingly
-Work 40 hours per week
-Work directly with client developing the design and communicating the design through-out the project
-Able to survey/measure spaces, buildings and create accurate background drawings
-Ability to effectively meet deadlines
-Travel as required

-Registered with current NCIDQ certification required
-LEED or GGP credential required with six (6) months of employment
