The casino opened its doors this morning (August 14, 2013) at 9am and will celebrate in grand style with a three-day “re-dedication” celebration weekend. In true Miami fashion, Hialeah Park Casino will celebrate its debut with a massive 3-day event this weekend.

The storied race track has undergone massive renovations to bring to the South Florida public a beautiful new casino which mirrors the old world elegance that made Hialeah Park a legend the world over. Owner John Brunetti assembled a team of top professionals in their respective fields to carry out this grand project.

This all-star team consists of lead architect Donald Dissinger from the world renowned architectural firm Ewing Cole, interior design specialists Floss Barber and Richard Nemec, the widely acclaimed landscape architect Raymond Jungles, and Link Construction, which worked around the clock to meet today’s deadline.

The Hialeah Park Casino combines the excitement of South Florida nightlife with timeless elegance. Upon entering the casino, terrazzo floors with silhouettes of the trademark flamingo welcomes guests as they are visually engulfed by “The Bloom” sculpture created by renowned Greek artist Alexandra Tsoukala.

Once inside the casino, guests will experience this gaming playground featuring 882 slots with only the latest and most popular machines on the market including electronic blackjack and roulette. The beautiful venue gives off an elegant and warm feeling with its dark wood accents throughout.

Poker players are in for a treat as the casino features a dedicated room on the second floor of the structure. 20 poker tables are spaced out over this area which eludes a private club feel. Additional poker and domino tables are located on a specially designed terrace for those who enjoy a good cigar while playing a hand of poker.

The casino also features beautifully designed contemporary bars which offer signature cocktails and specialty entertainment. A fine dining restaurant is attached to the casino, operated by award-winning Chefs Marcello Sindoni and Piero Filpi.

“Hialeah Park has served South Florida for over 80 years and with the addition of this beautiful casino we envision that the “Grand Dame” will serve the community for another 80,” expressed Brunetti. “The Brunetti family is thankful to all supporters and look forward to Hialeah Park Race Track and Casino to once again become the go-to destination in South Florida.”
