Emeril’s Chop House
In 2008, our first project for celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse was his Chop House at the Sands Casino, his first venture in the Northeast. He was personally involved in all aspects of design. We emphasized the huge size – about 4,000 SF for the bar and restaurant – and afforded extraordinary interior views by using dramatic glass and reflective surfaces.
Two custom curved, glass-front wine cellars separate the restaurant’s private dining areas from the main restaurant and display 2,500 bottles. There is an active bar, open chef’s kitchen on display, and two private dining rooms. When Emeril picks up a pepper mill, everyone presses a nose against the glass.
